To promote wellness, Yellowstone Surgery Center and the SCL Health campus is smoke-free, and there are no designated smoking areas. Smoking negatively impacts health, including healing.
Yellowstone Surgery Center downtown location, on the campus of SCL Health, is located on the corner of 12th Ave North and North 28th Broadway, just east of Yellowstone Medical Center.
Reserved Patient parking is available across North Broadway in the south lot, across from the Hilltop Inn.
We have a convenient drop off area at the front entrance of Yellowstone Surgery Center. Once discharged, patients will be wheeled out by a nurse where your family will be able to pick you up. Our nurse will assist you into the vehicle.
Patient Access Specialist representatives are available at the Yellowstone Surgery Center front desk Monday – Friday from 6 am-5 pm and can be reached at 406- 237-5901. The lobby closes at 5:00 pm, but can be accessed by ringing the buzzer at the Yellowstone Surgery Center front entrance, the door on the left, where a Nurse will let you in.
Family and friends must wait in the lobby, but will be called into Recovery when the procedure is completed and the patient is ready to see visitors. Visiting hours end at 9:00 pm for overnight guests.
Yellowstone Surgery Center provides small snacks and treats for patients while in Recovery. If you have special dietary restrictions, you will want to bring some of your own snacks. For our overnight patients, dinner will be ordered in.
Coffee is available in the Yellowstone Surgery Center lobby for family and visitors. In the basement of Yellowstone Surgery Center we have a vending machine easily accessed by the stairs or elevator. Yellowstone Surgery Center is also near several facilities that can provide dining options:
