Pain Services-Recovery


At both locations we provide a fully-staffed state-of-the-art pain services. With comfortable recovery and waiting areas, we have designed our centers with you in mind. Our friendly and highly trained physicians, anesthesiologists, nurses and support staff are here to provide you an excellent experience before, during and after your procedure.

You can not drive for approximately 6 hours after your procedure.

The effect of the block on pain control and duration of relief will vary from person to person. It may take 7-10 days for pain relief to take effect.

A Yellowstone Surgery Center staff member will attempt to contact you in the week after your procedure to see how you are feeling and to answer any questions you may have.

Most blocks and other pain treatments do not necessitate any restrictions in activity. Unless otherwise advised by your doctor or the Pain Services specialist, you may resume your previous activity level.
